Stokenham Village Green Community Orchard

The Stokenham parish group of community orchards includes Beeson, Chillington and Stokenham Orchards

The Stokenham Parish group of community orchards was formed to share volunteer ideas and skills and support all three orchards in the parish by working together to ensure that the areas are well managed, regularly maintained and that they are promoted as an asset for the community. You can read more about them in the “Case Study” section at the bottom of the Growing Orchard Communities project page.

Stokenham Village Green Orchard – This is a walled Village Green which has been planted with 20 varieties of Devon heritage apple trees, some cider and others dessert or cookers, together with one young oak planted by the local primary school.
