Village Green Orchard

Stokenham Parish Orchard Cluster Group consists of: Beeson, Chillington and Stokenham Community Orchards

This group was formed to share volunteer ideas and skills and support all three orchards by working together to ensure that the areas are well managed, regularly maintained and that they are promoted in the community as an asset for the community to use and enjoy. Stokenham Village Green Orchard - This is a dry stone walled Village Green which has been planted out with 20 varieties of Devon heritage apple trees, some cider and others dessert or cooker together with one young oak planted by the local primary school.  There are also two beds of wild flowers to enhance the open space.
