Orchard Link Annual Gathering 2012 Members of Orchard Link are invited to the Annual Gathering on Sunday 11 March to be held in Rattery Village Hall (where there is plenty of parking available). This year members are also invited to bring up to two guests (free of charge) who share our interest in orchards. We will have a guest speaker and members will be invited to put questions to our panel of experts on any orchard related subject. In addition we would welcome members joining in the discussions to share their own experiences. There will be a cider and apple juice competition (see below). Later this year we are planning to run some events on juice and cider making before our next harvest. The village hall is on the western edge of the village, where there is a large car park. Cider and Apple Juice Competition If you have made cider or apple juice please bring along for our informal tasting competition. The categories are: ·         Dry still cider ·         Medium/sweet still cider ·         Sparkling cider ·         Apple juice Entries are restricted to ONE bottle per category per entrant. Entrants must stick a label on the bottom of each bottle with name, category and date made.  Apple Cakes Please bring an apple theme cake to be shared at the conclusion of our programme.  Booking Please book by using the slip below and send to Orchard Link, West Mead, Rattery, South Brent, TQ10 9LF.
